From CAFO: “On August 20th, 2014, some of the leading thinkers in foster care gathered in Oklahoma City to share ideas and experiences that are making a difference throughout the country. The presentations and discussions from this important were captured on video to be utilized as resources designed to equip a team of passionate people in any church to be wise and thoughtful foster care advocates.

Pr. Robert Gelinas is Lead Pastor (and resident Jazz Theologian) of Colorado Community Church in Denver, Colorado. He is the author of The Mercy Prayer: The One Prayer Jesus Always Answers and Finding The Groove: Composing a Jazz-Shaped Faith. Pr. Gelinas is the founder of Project 127, a ministry dedicated to seeing the day when there are no children waiting for homes in Colorado’s foster care system. He is also the Director of the Sankofa Institute for African-American Servant Leadership. He has been married to Barbara, the love of his life, since 1994. Barbara and Robert have six energetic children, 5 of whom they adopted.”
